The Top Moped Insurance policy is a Belgian third-party liability insurance product from AG, distributed by BNP Paribas Fortis. This is a one-year contract that renews tacitly for the same period, unless you terminate it at least three months before the main expiry date.
For contracts taken out or tacitly renewed from 1 October 2024, you can terminate them up to two months before the main expiry date. From the second year of insurance onwards, you can cancel the contract at any time.
Termination will take effect two months from the day after the deposit of the registered letter, notification, or acknowledgement of receipt.
To encourage the choice of low-CO2-emission mobility, you will receive a 10% discount throughout the duration of your contract if your moped or microcar is electric.
This offer is valid for all new contracts and contract modifications following a change of moped or microcar.
Mopeds or microcars with a maximum of 50 cc or 4 kW:

Immediate assistance
Have an accident or a flat tyre? Simply call Teleclaims on 0800 96 050 to receive assistance, 24/7. The insurance covers, among other things, the towing of your damaged moped up to 30 km beyond the Belgian border.
Replacement vehicle
If you have an accident or a flat tyre in Belgium or up to 30 km past the border, you are entitled to a replacement vehicle for 24 hours or until Monday if the accident occurs on a Friday or at the weekend.
