You can add a debit card (plus one free replacement per year if it gets lost or stolen) and a savings account for your child.
You can also give them access to online and mobile banking.
Easy and secure payments
If your child is 12 years old or over, they can use Easy Banking App to pay in-store and online using a QR code. They can also make 100%-secure payments with their smartphone or smartwatch. Contact us to find out the age requirements of these solutions.
Appropriate payment limits
With their debit card, your child can spend up to €250 and withdraw up to €250 from an ATM per week. You can adjust their limits at any time in your branch.
Free transactions
All transactions in euros are free: payments, transfers, withdrawals (at ATMs or over the counter) and downloading account statements.
The only thing we charge for is sending account statements by post.
Automatic conversion when your child turns 18
On their 18th birthday, your child's Welcome Pack will be automatically converted into a Hello4You current account. This account for young adults is completely free until the age of 28.
Apply for your account by completing the online application form: it should only take 5 minutes.
Upload a photo or scan of your ID card and your child's ID card (minimum age: 12 years old).
Sign your Welcome Pack agreement using your card reader.

When opening a Welcome Pack for a child under 12 years old, you will now be asked to provide an official document proving their identity (identity card, certificate of family composition, parents' marriage certificate, etc.) in order to process the request in an even more efficient and secure manner.
Easy Banking App is available free of charge to all customers aged 12 years old or older with an Easy Banking Web agreement (available from 7 years old) and a debit card. BNP Paribas Fortis SA, Montagne du Parc 3, 1000 Brussels.
