To open a current account online, make sure you meet these conditions:
- You are not yet a customer.
- You are over 18 and resident in Belgium.
- You do not yet have a BNP Paribas Fortis account.
- You will be the sole account holder (no joint account).
- You have an itsme® account or a valid identity card.
What you should do:
- Download Easy Banking App or go to Easy Banking Web.
- Choose your pack and fill in your details.
- Confirm your identity via itsme® or eID.
How do you make an appointment to open a payment account?
You can make an appointment through our various channels:
- Online: make an appointment here (branch or post office).
- By phone: call the Easy Banking Centre on +32 2 762 20 00 (Monday to Friday from 7am to 10pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm).
- Via the app: open Easy Banking App, go to Help and contact, then Info and contact.
