Auvray Vision: growing serenely thanks to a trusted banking partner

Moving from a 4 m² office to a building of more than 600 m² in just a few years... For Auvray Vision, a Walloon company specialising in energy solutions, growth has been rapid, transformative... and challenging. Along this journey, the banking relationship has played a key role. Amandine Van Wymeersch (Chief Administrative Officer) and Emmanuel Auvray (co-founder and CEO) reflect on their collaboration with BNP Paribas Fortis. Their testimonial highlights the importance of a banking relationship built on trust and personalised support.
Built on field experience and complementary expertise
Auvray Vision was founded in 2017 as a partnership between two brothers: Emmanuel and Jean-François Auvray. Both self-employed, they chose to combine their respective strengths — one focused on development and commercial vision and the other on technical expertise — in order to structure a shared project. Very soon afterwards, Amandine Van Wymeersch, Emmanuel’s wife, joined the venture to organise the administration and support the company’s growth.
The company started in a small office, then moved to a garage, before renting a former marble workshop. Growth followed at every stage. Today, Auvray Vision employs around twenty people. It offers a wide range of solutions, including photovoltaic panels, electrical installations, home automation, heating and insulation. Its ambition is clear: provide comprehensive support to its clients.
2023: a decisive turning point in terms of financing.
The year 2023 marked a real milestone. The solar panel boom in Wallonia and regulatory changes created new opportunities. Auvray Vision therefore decided to acquire its own building.
"It was an ambitious project involving significant investment. We needed a partner who understood our growth and potential, and wouldn't treat us like just another number," explains Amandine Van Wymeersch.
It was at this point that BNP Paribas Fortis's support became particularly important.
A relationship based on responsiveness, trust and expertise
In a context of rapid growth and frequent regulatory changes, responsiveness is a key criterion for Auvray Vision. The ability to obtain quick answers, decisions or precise guidance can make all the difference to day-to-day operations.
"Responsiveness is truly essential for us," emphasise Amandine and Emmanuel. 'Knowing that we can rely on contacts who can take matters in hand and get back to us quickly gives us real peace of mind.'
The relationship with BNP Paribas Fortis is built around a central point of contact. The Relationship Manager supports Auvray Vision on an ongoing basis and has a strong understanding of the company, its activities and its challenges.
When necessary, this support is supplemented by the involvement of the bank’s experts in areas such as financing, insurance and technical matters. Auvray Vision appreciates this way of working, as it allows them to maintain a smooth and personalised relationship while benefiting from specific expertise tailored to their needs at the right time.
‘We know we are well advised. We can focus on our core business, our sites and our staff, without having to manage everything on the banking side,” she adds.
A partnership for the long term
Emmanuel Auvray confirms this perspective towards the end of the interview. For him, the collaboration is based on continuous dialogue and a mutual understanding of the challenges involved.
‘What we appreciate is that the relationship goes beyond a simple credit facility or banking product. There is genuine exchange and advice, as well as a global vision. That is what allows us to move forward with confidence.'
Auvray Vision does not seek excessive growth, but rather wishes to continue developing in a controlled manner, strengthening its position in the Walloon market and investing in the future.
'Remaining responsive, well surrounded and well supported is our guiding principle,' concludes Emmanuel Auvray.
This is a mindset that is shared with BNP Paribas Fortis, a key partner in sustainable and well-considered growth.
