From age 7 with Easy Banking Web, and from age 12 with Easy Banking App, your child can learn to manage their budget step by step. They can carry out simple transactions when and where they want, from a computer, smartphone or tablet.

They learn to manage their money

With Easy Banking App and Web, you teach your child to take responsibility by helping them acquire good habits:

You remain in control

Until your child turns 18, you can:

  • Track their banking activity
  • Temporarily block access if required

Plus, you can easily manage your family budget with the in-app budget tool.

Authorised transactions

Your child can:

  • Check their balance
  • Make transfers in euros to a third-party account
  • Make transfers in euros to their savings account
  • Make and receive payments with Bancontact

Unauthorised transactions

Your child may not:

  • Go into overdraft
  • Make transfers of more than €625 per day or €1,250 per week from their payment account to third-party accounts
  • Make transfers in euros from their savings account to their payment account*

* Your child cannot make transfers in euros from their savings account to their payment account before they come of age.
** Until they are 18 years old.

How to give them access to the app?

To use the app, which is available on Google Play or in the App Store, your child needs an Easy Banking Web contract* (included with the free young person's payment account) and your prior consent.

In your Easy Banking Web

  1. Log in.
  2. Click on "Settings", then select "Children".
  3. Select your child's name.
  4. Tick "Easy Banking App" or "Easy Banking Web + App" and confirm your consent.

  1. Log in.
  2. Click on "Settings", then select "Children's access".
  3. Click on "Authorise Easy Banking App" or "Authorise Easy Banking Web and App" below your child's first name and confirm your consent.

* If your child does not yet have an Easy Banking Web contract, you can activate their access at the same time as you give your consent to use Easy Banking App.
