CFS - Centre de Formation Sportive wants to welcome more young champions

To support its growth, CFS relies on the expertise of BNP Paribas Fortis, which has always been by its side. For Dimitri Francis, administrative and financial manager, the next step will be to work with the bank and Anne-Julie Lefebvre, his relationship manager.
For more than 40 years, CFS - Centre de Formation Sportive has been offering activities for children aged 2 to 16. Over time, its offering has grown to include no fewer than 70 sporting, cultural and leisure activities, organised through courses and extra-curricular activities. CFS now welcomes some 50,000 children each year.

To support its growth, the family business relies on the expertise of BNP Paribas Fortis. "Anne-Julie, our relationship manager at the Genappe branch, really understands our business," explains Dimitri. "It's crucial for us to have a central point of contact, someone who supports us at every stage of our development. We’re practically speaking every week now!”
Because there's no shortage of challenges at CFS. At the end of 2023, the association merged with its competitor ADSL (Association for the Development of Sports and Leisure), a move that was completed in early 2025 and which doubled the number of children welcomed. “The relationship of trust we’ve built over the months allows us to work more efficiently,” Anne-Julie points out. “Beyond the financing, I played a facilitating role at every stage of the transition, from opening accounts to managing direct debits and group payment orders.”
Brimming with plans
And the organisation has no intention of stopping there. “During the summer of 2025, CFS will inaugurate a new sports complex in Limal,” explains Dimitri. On the programme: an athletics track, climbing wall, padel, basketball, pickleball and even beach volleyball courts. "It’s a very exciting project. We'll be able to expand our offering and take a crucial step forward in our development.”
Anne-Julie is already fully involved in this next chapter. "As a banker, it's incredibly rewarding to work alongside a company with strong family values, watch it evolve, and contribute to its success.”
