I can’t link my card to Payconiq by Bancontact. Why?

If you’re getting an error message about your card, account, data or bank:

  1.  You need to use your card to make a chip-and-PIN payment in a store before you can make contactless and online payments and link your card to Payconiq by Bancontact.
  2. Repeat the steps you just took with your card reader.
  3. There may be a problem with your current account or debit card. For more information, contact the Easy Banking Centre via Help and contact then Info and contact in your Easy Banking App or on +32 2 762 90 00.

You’ve been redirected to the bank’s website, but you get a technical error message, the page is blank or nothing happens:
Install Google Chrome on your device and set it as your default browser.

If these reasons are not the cause, call the Easy Banking Centre via Help and contact then Info and contact in the Easy Banking App. Not using the app? Call us on +32 2 762 90 00 and identify yourself with your customer number and Easy Banking Phone code.
