To activate your Bancontact-Mastercard Debit card, simply use it to pay in a shop or withdraw cash from an ATM in Belgium. From then on, you can use your card for online and contactless payments.
Once you receive your new card, you have up to 6 weeks to activate it.
You can rely on BNP Paribas Fortis to secure your online banking as much as possible. But you are also part of the security of your banking data.
Lost, stolen or defective debit card? Order a new one via your Easy Banking App, wherever and whenever you want.
* A damaged card will not be blocked until you receive the new card. In case of fraud, block your card immediately via the app. And contact the Easy Banking Centre, which will investigate the fraudulent transactions and help you replace the card.
