Purchase protection

  • your business purchases are covered for a period of 90 days up to a maximum amount of €3,000 (max. 2 incidents per year)

  • in the event of theft: the purchase price of the stolen item is reimbursed

  • in the event of accidental damage: the cost of repair or the purchase price is reimbursed

Fraudulent use protection

  • fraudulent use of the card by an employee

  • you’re protected up to €5,000

Delayed flight or missed connection cover

  • the cost of a hotel, food and transport from or to the airport, up to a maximum of €250

Car rental excess cover

  • material damage to your rental car (up to €10,000)

The main risks not covered by

Purchase protection

  • normal wear and tear or gradual deterioration of the item due to erosion, corrosion or moisture

  • the effect of cold or heat on the item

  • when the new movable property has not been purchased and/or not fully paid for with the insured credit card

Fraudulent use protection

  • spending by owners, directors, partners, main shareholders, or individuals who are not employees of the policyholder

Delayed flight or missed connection cover

  • delays under 4 hours or delays on non-scheduled/charter flights

Car rental excess cover

  • if the rental vehicle's value exceeds €50,000 or if the rental period exceeds 31 days

  • if the driver is under the influence of alcohol at the time of the damage

Online purchase protection

  • items not purchased or not fully paid for with the Mastercard Business Prestige credit card

Travel assistance

  • pre-existing medical conditions, attempted suicide, and air travel complications if pregnant beyond 28 weeks

Baggage insurance

Adjustable limits and clear fees

The Mastercard Business Prestige credit card is included in the Flex Pro pack (up to 2 cards) or is available separately for €12.75/quarter.

  • standard spending limit for payments: €2,500 per month
  • standard spending limit for cash withdrawals: €2,500 per month, €1,250 per week, €620 per four days
  • to adjust your limits, please contact your branch
  • transaction fees for in-store purchases: no fees in Belgium and Europe, 1.60% foreign exchange fees outside the eurozone
  • transaction fees for cash withdrawals at an ATM: €6 + 1% of the amount withdrawn in Belgium or Europe. The fees for a cash withdrawal outside the eurozone are €6 + a 1.60% foreign exchange fee

Pay securely, even online

  • if your Mastercard Business Prestige is lost or stolen, call Card Stop immediately on +32 78 170 170 keep your credit card in a safe place
  • do not disclose your secret code to anyone
  • destroy credit cards that you no longer use or that have expired
  • interrupt any transaction that seems suspicious or if you feel you’re being watched
  • check the currency in which you must pay for a purchase or service, both abroad and onlin
