How to cash a circular cheque?

To cash a circular cheque issued by BNP Paribas Fortis in cash, visit a post office. Cashing at a BNP Paribas Fortis branch is no longer possible.

Do you have an eID card? Go to the counter with your eID and the cheque.

  3. Provide a copy of the notarial mandate or use the bank’s standard mandate document (completed, signed by both parties, and drawn up separately for each cheque).
  • Legal administration (guardianship/curatorship)
  1. Fill in the relevant fields on the back of the cheque.
  2. Identify yourself and the beneficiary named on the cheque, ideally presenting two physical eID cards.
  3. Provide a copy of the court ruling or a legal administration certificate.
  • Physical restriction
  1. Fill in the required fields on the back of the cheque.
