Are there limits on the amounts I can receive via Wero?
When is the amount of a transaction credited to my business account?
Funds from your Wero transactions are generally paid into your business bank account the next working day. However, the transaction is instant and final: once completed, it cannot be cancelled afterwards. You can therefore be sure that the paid amount will be available in your account the following day.
I have multiple business accounts. Which one receives Wero funds?
Have you chosen a merchant contract with access to the Bancontact Go portal and QR code display? When activating your contract, you define which bank account the money from your transactions will be paid into.
Do you use Wero in Easy Banking App? You choose which account will receive the funds when you initiate the transaction. The debit card linked to this account must be activated.
Where and how can I track my customers’ Wero & Bancontact transactions?
You can track and manage your customers’ transactions in your Bancontact Go merchant portal. Among other things, you will find a list of all your Wero transactions. You can sort them according to different criteria, such as by point of sale or by time period.
You can also easily export these transaction lists, for example, to use in your management systems.
Do I need a bank card to generate a QR code?
Yes, you need a business payment bank account and an active debit card to collect your customers’ payments via Wero & Bancontact. One or more debit cards are included free of charge in our business banking packs. Don't have one yet? Please contact your branch or the Easy Banking Centre.
