TNS Food wants to create even more taste sensations

At the age of 12, she was already cooking, and at 19 she started her own business. Daphné Aers is the driving force behind TNS Food. The company supplies large retailers with tasty croquettes, oven snacks and ready-made meals, all made using home-made recipes and local ingredients. BNP Paribas Fortis was there from the very beginning.

On the same wavelength

BNP Paribas Fortis is and remains the only bank the Aers family uses. Maxime Prové became a relationship manager for TNS Food seven years ago. They hit it off immediately. Daphné Aers: "We work closely together. I can always call Maxime if I have questions or concerns, or if I want to check on my plans. He listens, advises or simply reassures me; he's the perfect sounding board. Every business step I’ve taken in recent years has been thoroughly discussed with Maxime. He thinks strategically, whether it’s about liquidity management or expansion plans."

“A company like TNS Food requires a specific approach,” adds Maxime. "For example, their sales peak at the end of the year but the preparation and production process is a year-round effort. As a bank, we have always helped with the necessary liquidity to build up these stocks." A few years ago, TNS Food entered the convenience food business with an investment in a new factory in Lokeren. "Ready meals are purchased throughout the year, which ensures a solid cash flow. By responding to new trends, TNS Food remains dynamic and the company is growing. It’s great to be a part of that," says Maxime enthusiastically.

Commitment and trust

Daphné has remained true to her principles throughout all these years. “I want to bring a top-quality product to the consumer in an accessible way, something that I would make myself at home.” For 25 years, she has been the first point of contact for her customers and suppliers. "That personal approach and short lines of communication create a lot of trust and peace of mind for my customers. Of course, I am surrounded by a fantastic team and Maxime. It’s sometimes challenging, but as long as the passion is there, I will keep going," concludes Daphné.

"Every business step I’ve taken in recent years has been thoroughly discussed with Maxime. He's the perfect sounding board."
