Error message EBW0501 has two possible causes:
1. Your PC banking has been blocked
You have made five unsuccesful attempts to log in with the card reader. As a result, your access to PC banking has been blocked for security reasons. Please contact our PC banking specialists on +32 2 433 43 34 (every business day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Useful information: Only your access to PC banking has been blocked, not your bank card. You can still use your card for withdrawals at ATMs or to pay in shops.
2. Your bank card has been blocked
You have entered the card number of a bank card which you have previously blocked, for instance after loss or theft or after an ATM swallowed the card.
- Do you have a new bank card? Remember to change the card number in the login screen.
- Have you got your card back and do you want to use it again? Please contact your branch so that they can unblock your card. Before you can use the card again in PC banking, you must make at least one withdrawal from an ATM or payment in a store with the card.
