Warning about suspicious e-mails

There is a possibility that you will receive e-mails claiming to be from BNP Paribas Fortis and using our corporate style, suggesting that there are some problems with your card or your account. The e-mails contain links which, if clicked, direct you to a fake BNP Paribas Fortis website, for the moment also written in English. In this fake website you are asked to reveal confidential information. Under no circumstances should you enter any of your card details or any other personal information on that site.

We want to remind you in the firmest possible terms that BNP Paribas Fortis will never ask you to divulge personal or confidential information by e-mail or by phone.

You can verify the authenticity of the real BNP Paribas Fortis website at any time by double-clicking the little padlock symbol in the bottom right corner of your browser program. You can then check that the internet address ends in bnpparibasfortis.be or fortisbanking.be. Make sure the address is completely accurate.
