Does the computer you use for PC banking run on Windows XP?
Microsoft has announced that it will no longer support its Windows XP operating system after 8 April 2014 and that there will be no further updates. This will make computers running on Windows XP vulnerable to unauthorised use.
Initially you can continue to use PC banking on a Windows XP computer. We will follow closely whether PC banking is becoming more vulnerable on Windows XP computers. In time, we will obviously no longer allow access to PC banking on Windows XP computers. We will certainly inform you of any evolutions in this regard.
To ensure secure use of PC banking and other applications, we recommend that you upgrade the operating system of your computer(s) to a more recent version. This advice is motivated by our concern for the security of our customers' financial data, which is our first priority.
