How often will I receive my statements in Easy Banking?
You have 3 options: ° If you need daily statements - for example because you're a freelancer or an entrepreneur - choose 'daily'. ° Do you carry out a high number of transactions per month? Or do you often need a copy statement as proof of payment? We recommend you select 'weekly'. ° Do you carry out few transactions per month or don't need your statements regularly? Select 'monthly'.
Can I receive statements on bank holidays?
Is the day selected for statement delivery a bank holiday? You will receive your statements on the day after the following working day.
I can't see my statements. What should I do?
First check your browser settings and enable pop-ups for the website. Note that Google Chrome blocks the opening of some PDF files. When you try to open a PDF file, an error message is displayed at the top right of the browser (small box). Click on it, then click "enable pop-ups for this site". You can also avoid the problem by using Internet Explorer.
Where can I find my recent statements?
If you are looking for recent statements, there are three possibilities: ° if you've already gone to the new format, you'll receive statements at the selected frequency ° if you're looking for old statements, these are available with Easy Banking Web ° if you've not yet gone to the new format, you continue to receive your statements in A6 format on Self or by letter. These will be visible within 3 working days with Easy Banking Web.
Why haven't I received a statement when there has been activity on my account?
The statement will be available the day after the selected frequency. Check whether the selected frequency meets your needs.
How can I receive statements for all the accounts I hold?
You can make specific choices for certain accounts; you can apply your main choices for these accounts or select different frequencies.
How can I display all my accounts and their statements?
Make sure you are properly entitled for the relevant accounts by contacting your branch. If so, you'll receive the statements in the requested format.
Can I see my statements in Easy Banking Web even if I still receive my statements in Self or by letter?
Yes, but you will only see the statements you've already printed from a cash machine or received by letter.
Do I have to download my statements?
No, your bank keeps them for you for 10 years, so you can consult them at any time in Easy Banking Web. The download function was added for customers who want to save statements to their computers. Downloading statements does not affect their availability in Easy Banking Web. The downloaded statements remain available in Easy Banking Web.
I print my statements in Self banking or I receive them by letter. Is it normal to also receive them from Easy Banking Web?
You can only receive your statements in one way. If you selected to receive your statements with Easy Banking Web, you can no longer get them at the cash machine or by letter. If an agent selected to receive the statements for your accounts with Easy Banking Web, you can also receive them with Easy Banking Web.
I can no longer get my statements at the cash machine or I no longer receive them by letter.
This means that you have not yet downloaded the statement. The icon disappears when you've downloaded the statement and you've confirmed the download. You're not obligated to download the statements because the bank keeps them for you for 10 years.
My card reader displays 'PIN blocked'. What should I do?
If you've entered the wrong PIN 3 times for your BNP Paribas Fortis bank card, it will be blocked. Go to your branch to get your card unblocked. If you've forgotten your bank card PIN, the branch will request a new PIN. You will receive a new secret PIN a few days later at your home address.
My card reader has stopped working. What should I do?
If your card reader is faulty (doesn't work or displays abnormal data) or indicates Battery Low, you should replace it with a new card reader. The exchange is free. Order one online and we'll send it to you within a week. Visit your BNP Paribas Fortis branch and you'll receive a new card reader in exchange for the faulty one.
Which card should I use with the card reader?
To log on or sign transactions with a card reader, you must have a valid BNP Paribas Fortis bank card. This must have the following characteristics: ° be linked to the account of your Easy Banking contract; ° you must be the holder; ° a card with the number 67xx xxxx xxxx xxxx x; ° it must have been used in an ATM or to pay for a purchase at least once; ° it is not possible to log on with a credit card.
