Transfers
European transfers
European transfers allow you to make payments from your Belgian bank account to any account in Europe. To make a transfer, you simply need the IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of the beneficiary. If you are transferring money between two accounts opened with the same bank, the beneficiary's account will be credited on the very same day.
International transfers
As an expatriate customer, you may on occasion need to transfer funds to a country outside the SEPA zone in a currency other than the euro. The "International transfer" function enables you to easily and quickly carry out an international bank transfer or send a cheque. In order to make an international transfer to a country outside the eurozone, you will need the beneficiary's BIC (Bank Identifier Code, also known as the Swift code).
