Secure card payments
SEPA includes new standards and regulations for card payments. Why? To guarantee that everyone within the SEPA zone can make card payments and withdrawals in the same user-friendly and secure way.
All BNP Paribas Fortis cards offer the Maestro function and are protected by a combination of chip and PIN code. Credit card payments, on the other hand, are secured with the CVC-code, a three digit code on the back of the card.
