Ordering foreign currency
Cash for your first purchases abroad
Are you planning a holiday or business trip outside the euro zone? The simplest and most efficient payment method is still your bank or credit card. However, it is always a good idea to take some cash with you in order to cover your first expenses (taxi, restaurant, etc.) once you have reached your destination. As a BNP Paribas Fortis customer, you won’t even need to leave your home to order foreign currency. Simply reserve the foreign currency by phone via the Easy Banking Centre and then collect it (maximum two weeks later) from your preferred branch.
A currency for every country...
You have decided where you want to spend your next holiday. You are about to travel to another country for professional reasons. What currency is being used there? What payment methods are available? How do you carry out your everyday transactions from this destination?
